Writing Guide

This is the on-line writing guide for the Worcester Academy History and Social Sciences Department. It outlines the department’s writing program, showing a clear progression of  writing and communication skills 6-12. A particular emphasis is placed on structure and, in the upper grades, acknowledging the complexity of history and the human condition. In other words, students are taught the writing conventions and style used in the Social Sciences.
